Infrastructure & Facilities

The Trio World School library is a vibrant and inspiring learning hub designed to nurture curiosity, imagination, and academic excellence among our students. The library is the heart of our academic community. It is where stories come alive, ideas take shape, and knowledge flows freely. It is a dynamic environment that sparks creativity, encourages collaboration, and develops independent thinking.

Our library serves as a gateway to both timeless classics and modern resources, helping students explore literature, research, and the world of ideas far beyond the classroom. Whether they are discovering their first storybook, conducting in-depth research for senior projects, or simply enjoying the joy of reading, every student finds a space here to grow.

As Margaret Fuller once said, “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” At Trio, we believe that by cultivating the habit of reading and inquiry, the library empowers students not only to excel academically but also to become thoughtful, empathetic, and future-ready global citizens.

The Trio infirmary is equipped and well maintained with 4 beds and supplies to address the medical and first-aid needs of learners while in school. Trained and certified nurses are available to manage and assess any health issues that may arise during school hours. The school nurse administers first-aid and other emergency nursing measures to children who are injured or who become ill while at school and arranges for medical attention if the circumstances indicate. Parents are informed with complete details of the treatment.

In the event of more serious medical emergencies, a nurse would accompany the child to the hospital for the required check-ups and treatment. Parental consent is required to take the child to the hospital. Trio is located close to hospitals such as Aster, Rainbow, Sparsh and Manipal.
Note: If the child is unwell and showing symptoms of fever, cough, cold, dizziness and/or malaise, we request parents to not send them to school and to inform their respective class teacher about the same.

Physics Laboratory

A physics lab provides specialized facilities critical for hands-on learning. Key equipment includes oscilloscopes, spectrometers, multimeters, and precision measurement tools (calipers, balances).

We use these facilities to enhance learning by:

1. Bridging theory and practice: Experiments allow students to directly observe physical phenomena, making abstract concepts concrete.
2. Developing essential skills: Handling apparatus, collecting accurate data, and troubleshooting build practical and analytical capabilities.
3. Fostering critical thinking: Students analyze results, calculate errors, and interpret findings to validate or deduce physical laws, leading to a deeper, evidence-based understanding.

Chemistry Laboratory

At Trio World School, learning Chemistry is primarily planned around active and activity-based learning, building real-life connections, and engaging students through graphic representations and hands-on laboratory experiences.

Students are encouraged to question, explore, and apply concepts to everyday situations, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable. Regular experiments and demonstrations help them visualize abstract ideas and strengthen their understanding of scientific principles. The approach not only nurtures curiosity but also develops analytical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for future scientific pursuits.

Biology Laboratory

The Biology Lab at Trio World School offers students a hands-on learning experience that brings textbook concepts to life. Equipped with compound microscopes, anatomical models, charts, and essential lab instruments, the lab supports both theoretical and practical learning.

Under guided instruction, students explore microscopic structures, examine plant and animal specimens, and practice scientific techniques that strengthen their analytical and observational skills. Emphasis is placed on lab safety and proper procedures to ensure a disciplined and secure environment.

By blending practical experimentation with classroom learning, the Biology Lab nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and a lasting spirit of scientific inquiry.

Computer Laboratory

TWS has two fully equipped computer labs for the convenience of our students. Each is equipped with AV systems, projectors, and whiteboards. Each lab has 30 computers to accommodate a class with 1-to-1 usage of computers.

Students, faculty, and staff have access to Computer Laboratories. TWS has two well-designed and well-equipped computer laboratories, one each in Primary and Middle/ High school sections. Each is run by a qualified and experienced computer faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each student. Students are also taught through PowerPoint presentations and hands-on activities.
There are 100+ computers in the school currently. They are state-of-the-art with multimedia. All our monitors are 18.5″ LCD which are easier on the eyes, generates less heat, and are environment friendly thereby keeping the classroom atmosphere comfortable for students. TWS has its own LAN with Windows 10 for teaching and learning, presentations, and documentation.

A student-led green campus, Trio World School champions sustainability through meaningful action, innovation, and environmental consciousness. Our commitment to green practices is not limited to infrastructure—it is a way of life that involves every member of our school community. Through a variety of student-driven initiatives, we aim to cultivate environmentally responsible citizens who care deeply about the planet and the future.

Our Key Green Campus Initiatives:

  • E-Waste Collection:
We conduct regular e-waste collection drives to safely dispose of and recycle outdated electronic items, teaching students the importance of responsible digital waste management.
  • Seed Bank:
Our seed bank initiative encourages students to collect, preserve, and share indigenous seeds, promoting biodiversity and sustainability in agriculture.
  • Rainwater Harvesting:
Rainwater harvesting units across the campus collect and store water, demonstrating a practical solution to water conservation and groundwater recharge.
  • Biodiversity Conservation:
Through native plantations, butterfly gardens, and eco-spaces, we actively promote biodiversity and create a living laboratory for environmental education.
  • Water Audit:
Regular water audits help us track water consumption, identify leakages, and implement corrective actions to ensure efficient water usage.
  • Energy Audit:
By conducting periodic energy audits, we monitor our energy use, reduce electricity consumption, and promote the use of energy-efficient systems.
  • No Plastic Zone:
The campus strictly prohibits single-use plastics, encouraging students and staff to adopt eco-friendly alternatives like cloth bags, steel bottles, and biodegradable packaging.
  • Paperless Transactions:
Communication within the school is digitalized through erp, apps, emails, and e-posters, minimizing paper waste and promoting a tech-savvy, eco-conscious culture.
  • Green Commuting Practices:
Students and staff are encouraged to carpool, walk, cycle, or use school transport, reducing vehicular emissions and fostering community involvement in environmental efforts.
  • Monitoring AQI and Pollution Check Drives:
An air quality monitor through simple practise enables to track real-time AQI, while students lead pollution check campaigns to raise awareness and thrive in cleaner air.
  • Integrating SDGs in Events and Curriculum:
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are deeply integrated into classroom projects, school assemblies, and events to nurture responsible global citizens.
  • Responsible Consumption Community:
Students participate in campaigns that promote mindful consumption, reduce food and material waste, and encourage the reuse and repurposing of items.
  • Green Cafeteria:
Our cafeteria embraces sustainability by offering healthy, seasonal, and locally sourced meals, minimizing food wastage, and eliminating plastic packaging.

This holistic and student-driven approach makes Trio World School a truly green campus, where education and sustainability go hand in hand. We believe that when students lead, the world follows. At Trio, we "learn green, live green, and lead green."
