Dance is art in motion. It helps in coordination, strength, quickness, and agility. Dance classes are structured and planned with the balance of both fun and learning.

Our classes incorporate:

  • Various rhythmic pattern movements which encourage coordination, fine and gross motor skills.
  • Dance curriculum which covers different dance forms (Folk, Western and Classical).
  • Theory classes, to help students to gain knowledge on cultural and traditional roots of dance.

Zumba

Zumba as an activity is fun and effective. It includes interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while targeting overall fitness, flexibility, and endurance.

  • The workout has a watch and follow format. The movements are repeated often enough for students to catch on and they are not complicated.
  • Difficulty level of the routine is planned according to the age group of the students.

Arts and crafts play a pivotal role in a child's education by nurturing creativity and self-expression. Integrating these activities in school helps students develop not just artistic skills, but also important life skills. Arts and crafts activities at Trio complement the ICSE curriculum’s emphasis on a balanced education.

Engaging students in arts and crafts fosters creativity by encouraging them to think outside the box and experiment with diverse materials and ideas. It also improves fine motor skills as students learn to handle tools and materials carefully. Moreover, it enhances problem-solving abilities as they figure out how to bring their ideas to life.

Art provides a hands-on learning experience that keeps students actively engaged in the process. It allows for personal expression, helping students build confidence in their unique abilities. Collaborative projects also encourage teamwork and communication among peers. Participating in arts and crafts creates a sense of belonging, as students share their creations and appreciate each other’s work. This fosters a supportive environment where creativity, patience, innovation, and collaboration go hand in hand. Additionally, Trio art exhibitions and group projects help build a sense of community and pride among students.

Features of Arts and Crafts at Trio:

  • Encourages creativity and innovation by inspiring students to think independently and experiment with diverse materials and techniques.
  • Enhances fine motor skills and coordination through hands-on activities involving tools, textures, and patterns.
  • Develops problem-solving and critical thinking as students explore ways to translate ideas into tangible creations.
  • Builds self-confidence and personal expression, helping students appreciate their unique artistic voice.
  • Fosters teamwork and communication through group art projects and collaborative displays.

Incorporating arts and crafts into the ICSE curriculum enriches the overall educational experience, ensuring that students not only excel academically but also develop holistically.

At Trio World School, we believe in nurturing compassionate, socially responsible individuals. Our community outreach program, in collaboration with BBMP School, empowers students to make a difference through teaching, resource donation, and learning environment enhancement.

From improving communication skills to organizing competitions and workshops, our students actively contribute to the betterment of under-resourced schools. SUPW activities further instill practical life skills through craft, flameless cooking competitions, and hands-on workshops. Students also perform street plays to spread awareness about social and environmental issues.

These initiatives build empathy, leadership, and real-world awareness, aligning with our vision of holistic, values-driven education.

Key Highlights of the Programme

  • Academic & Social Engagement – Peer teaching, interactive sessions, and donation drives to support under-resourced classrooms.
  • Sports & Arts for All – Friendly matches, sports activities, and art competitions that encourage teamwork, confidence, and cultural exchange.
  • Life Skills for Empowerment – Practical workshops such as candle-making (with opportunities to earn income) and basic plumbing skills taught by the school plumber, helping children become self-reliant.
  • Health & Environmental Responsibility – Awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and wellness, alongside tree planting, clean-up campaigns, and sustainable living projects.

Through these initiatives, Trio students experience the joy of giving back, while children from the BBMP school gain opportunities, skills, and confidence. Together, they create a community rooted in empathy, inclusion, and shared growth — preparing every learner to be a responsible global citizen and changemaker.

The experience of being at a Model United Nations (MUN) is unlike any other. The thrill, the excitement, the knowledge, the debates and all the other surrounding aspects of such an event are an unmatched experience on their own.

Here at Trio World School, we are allowing our children to experience these feelings and emotions first-hand with the introduction of the all-new MUN training sessions.

The sessions allow the children to explore themselves and look at real-world issues from a different point of view. The students are being trained on a range of aspects from body language to voice modulation and various other paradigms of public speaking.

For ICSE high school students, MUN is more than just an academic exercise; it is an opportunity to connect classroom learning with the realities of the wider world. It reinforces concepts from history, political science, geography, and economics, making these subjects come alive. Students learn to analyse global issues through multiple lenses and to think critically about how policies shape nations and communities.

Participating in MUN also helps students build confidence and clarity of thought, skills that are invaluable for board exams, higher education, and professional life. Whether they pursue careers in law, business, science, or the arts, the ability to communicate persuasively and reason logically will remain a lifelong asset.

Moreover, MUN nurtures empathy and cultural awareness. By representing different countries, students learn to appreciate diverse perspectives and understand the complexities of international cooperation. This not only broadens their worldview but also prepares them to become responsible, globally minded citizens.

FAQ's

MUN stands for Model United Nations. It is a simulation of the United Nations for students at TRIO World School.

MUN is conducted once a year. Topics are chosen from current events. Each student is assigned to be a delegate of a particular country. A real-world scenario or problem is assigned to them. They must then attempt to solve the issue at hand based on the policies and resources they have as a representative of that country. The students need to create policy documents, an opening speech, research and subsequently a resolution document on their assigned issue.

MUN helps students understand how the United Nations works. Students pick up skills like leadership, research, critical thinking, diplomacy, international relations, and teamwork.

It also gives them insight into policymaking and the formulation of proposal papers. For ICSE students, these skills complement their curriculum by strengthening analytical thinking, enhancing writing abilities, and refining communication skills all key elements for success in board examinations and competitive entrance tests.

In addition, the process of negotiation and debate teaches students to listen actively, respect differing opinions, and build consensus—traits that foster maturity and emotional intelligence.

MUN is open for students from class 8 to 10.

At TWS, we encourage students to develop a healthy competitive spirit in a secure atmosphere that encourages wholesome excellence. We believe that a child’s self-worth and ability to succeed in their future greatly depends on building a strong holistic foundation on their strengths and aptitude. We encourage and nurture their inherent talents; we steer them gently towards exploring and trying out new things that they show competence in. Every success, big or small is recognized and celebrated. TWS students perform well on both the academic and the non-academic front consistently.
