TRIO World School student wins national medal in swimming and excels at CISCE National Championships

Shelyn Sunil TRIO World School (TWS), ICSE school located at Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru, won a silver medal in the 200m Individual Medley (IM) in the Group 3 Girls category at the 38th Sub Junior National Aquatic Championships held at Rajkot. This is her first national medal. She completed the race with a timing of 2:50.95.

Continuing her impressive swimming journey, Shelyn also competed in the CISCE National Games and Sports Swimming Championships 2024-25, held at the Centre of Sports Excellence, Bangalore, from the 28th to the 30th of August 2024. With the support of the TRIO World School management, teachers, and her coaches, Shelyn won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal at this championship.

With these achievements, she qualified to represent CISCE in the upcoming School Games Federation of India Championships (SGFI), to be held in Rajkot, Gujarat, during the last week of November 2024.

The events in which Shelyn won her medals are as follows:

  • 200m Butterfly – Gold
  • 100m Butterfly – Gold
  • 200m Freestyle – Silver
  • 4x100m Medley Relay – Gold
