At TRIO World School (ICSE), we take immense pride in nurturing confidence, creativity, and talent in our students.
We are delighted to share that Aryan Sudarshan of Grade 2 secured an impressive Second Prize in the ‘Pick and Speak’ competition organised by KISA.

Adding to this success, our talented students also achieved a remarkable milestone by securing First Place in the Primary Group Singing Competition. Competing against nearly 60 schools, their performance, teamwork, and dedication earned them the top honour.
These achievements represent the students’ hard work and the collaborative efforts of our educators who continuously guide and inspire them to excel beyond the classroom.
We congratulate our young achievers and look forward to many more such accomplishments in the future.
TRIO World School students immersed themselves in an enriching outdoor experience organised by Rocksport. The outing was filled with adventure, teamwork and personal growth. This excursion was an opportunity for students to disconnect from the digital world. Without the distractions of the internet, they fully engaged with their surroundings, built meaningful friendships, and embraced every moment to the fullest.

The program featured well-organised itineraries, guided by experienced professionals who ensured both safety and excitement throughout. From outdoor challenges to reflective activities, every element was thoughtfully curated to create a memorable and fulfilling experience for our students.
A highlight of the trip was the award ceremony, where we celebrated the enthusiasm and efforts of our young learners. Recognitions such as Best Camper, Best Kept Room, and Journal Writing Awards showcased not only their participation but also their discipline, creativity, and team spirit.

We are delighted to share that parents expressed immense appreciation for the trip, recognising it as a meaningful and timely initiative. Experiences like these leave a lasting impact, creating memories that students will cherish for a lifetime.
At TRIO, we remain committed to offering such transformative opportunities. We look forward to many more enriching outings with our students as they continue their academic journey.
Why experiential learning matters
If you ask a child, “Where do you get coriander from?” the most common answer would be “the vegetable shop.”
But what happens when children move beyond this simple understanding and experience the journey of food from soil to plate?
Experiential learning plays a vital role in helping students develop real-world awareness, responsibility, patience, and a deeper understanding of sustainability. By engaging directly with nature, children build essential life skills while strengthening their curiosity and critical thinking.
At TRIO World School, our collaboration with Akshayakalpa brought this very transformation to life for our Class 4 learners.

A hands-on journey from soil preparation to growth
This project was not just about growing coriander. It was about nurturing awareness, responsibility, and a deep connection with nature.
The learning unfolded as a rich, hands-on experience. Students began by preparing the seed beds, understanding the importance of soil health and the right conditions for growth. With care and consistency, they watered the seeds daily, observing changes with curiosity and anticipation.
The most magical moment came with the first signs of life: tiny green shoots emerging from the soil. This simple yet profound experience sparked joy, wonder, and a sense of achievement among the students.
As the plants grew, so did the children’s learning. They engaged in weeding, understood the importance of nurturing living organisms, and developed patience and responsibility.
The process was not rushed; it allowed them to slow down, observe, and truly connect with nature.

From the joy of discovery to the reward of effort
Finally, the harvest brought immense pride and satisfaction. What once seemed like a small herb from a shop had now become a symbol of effort, care, and learning.
The activity was free of cost, and children went home with products like raw honey, cow ghee, buttermilk, and coconut oil from Akshayakalpa, further reinforcing the connection between natural farming and everyday life.

Integrating learning beyond the classroom
This multifaceted project beautifully integrated:
- Experiential learning
- Environmental awareness
- Life skills such as patience and responsibility
- A deeper appreciation for sustainable practices
More importantly, it helped children realise that food does not simply “come from a store” . It is grown, nurtured, and cared for.
Shaping mindful, environmentally conscious global citizens
Such experiences are essential in shaping mindful, responsible global citizens who value sustainability and understand their role in protecting the environment.
At TRIO, we believe that the most powerful learning happens when children experience it, feel it, and grow with it.
At Trio World School, we believe in nurturing compassionate, socially responsible individuals who understand the importance of community and giving back. Our ongoing community outreach initiatives with the BBMP School at Kodigehalli, provide our students with meaningful opportunities to engage, contribute and grow as empathetic leaders. This partnership has become a powerful platform for connection and impact.
Empowering learning through student initiatives
Over the years, Trio students have actively contributed to strengthening learning environments and supporting learners through several impactful initiatives.
Students participate in peer teaching sessions, interactive activities and donation drives aimed at supporting under-resourced classrooms. These experiences enhance the learning journey of BBMP students and allow Trio students to develop leadership and communication skills.
One of the most meaningful initiatives is the Cross-Age Tutoring program, where high school students mentor younger students from the Kodigehalli Government School.
Recognising the importance of learning resources, Trio students organised a large-scale notebook donation drive, distributing 4,000 notebooks and contributing ₹50,000 toward the remodelling of Kodigehalli Government School, helping improve the learning environment for students.
As part of the spirit of giving during Daan Utsav, students also donated tracksuits, plates, and carpets to support the daily needs of students at Kodigehalli Government Primary School.
Candle-Making Workshop
On 11 December 2025, Trio World School hosted students from the BBMP school for a candle-making workshop conducted by our Class X Trio students.
The workshop encouraged creativity, practical learning, and teamwork as participants designed and crafted their own unique candles. The session created an environment for students to interact, exchange ideas and build friendships.
The event demonstrated how collaboration and creativity can bring students together, leaving everyone inspired by the joy of learning from one another.

Sankranti Sports Meet 2026
In January 2026, Trio World School hosted a vibrant Sports Meet with BBMP students to celebrate Makar Sankranti, bringing together students for a day filled with energy, inclusivity, and festive spirit.
The event featured exciting running and hurdle races, and a fun and creative kite-making activity. Medals and certificates were awarded to winners. Water bottles were distributed to all participants.
The day concluded with the distribution of traditional Pongal and refreshing juice, adding a festive touch to the celebration.
These initiatives reflect Trio World School’s commitment to fostering a culture of empathy, inclusivity, and service.
As we continue this partnership with BBMP schools, we look forward to creating many more opportunities for collaboration, learning, and shared growth.

Ms. Seema Bali stands as an inspiring role model whose vision, compassion, and leadership continue to positively impact the education fraternity and society at large.
As the world grapples with escalating climate challenges, the role of education in shaping sustainable solutions is critical. The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), an independent, multidisciplinary organisation renowned for its work in research, policy, consultancy, and implementation continues to empower young minds through its Environment Education and Awareness (EEA) Division. By nurturing vision, leadership, and environmental responsibility, TERI is preparing the youth of today to lead the climate solutions of tomorrow.
As part of this commitment, TERI, in collaboration with Harit by HCL Foundation, organised the Youth Climate Innovators Power Up Workshop under the Youth Climate Innovation Challenge (YCIC). This initiative encourages college students in Bengaluru to identify local climate challenges and develop innovative, technology-driven solutions through a thoughtfully curated series of expert sessions, competitions, bootcamps, and exposure visits.

Ms. Seema Bali, Principal, Trio World School, delivered an impactful 60-minute expert talk titled “Innovation Storm: When Educational Institutions Become Climate Solution Hubs” during workshop.
Drawing from her extensive experience in progressive education leadership, Ms. Bali highlighted how educational institutions can move beyond traditional teaching models to become active incubators of climate innovation. She emphasised that schools and colleges are uniquely positioned to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving for addressing complex environmental issues.

During the session, Ms. Bali spoke passionately about the importance of integrating climate education into everyday learning, encouraging interdisciplinary approaches, and creating safe spaces where students can ideate, experiment, and innovate. She underscored the role of educators as facilitators and mentors who inspire students to connect academic learning with real-world climate challenges.

The Youth Climate Innovators Power Up Workshop continues to serve as a dynamic platform for young innovators to learn from experts, collaborate with peers, and refine their ideas into actionable climate solutions. Sessions like these reaffirm the belief that empowering youth through education is one of the most effective pathways to building a resilient and sustainable future.
TRIO World School has its very own student-led green campus initiative that encourages sustainability through meaningful action, innovation, and environmental consciousness. Such initiatives are also part of our Global Citizenship and Community Outreach Programmes.
We are thrilled to announce that Trio World School, a Bangalore-based affiliated ICSE institution, has received official approval from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to commence Class XI (ISC) from the academic year 2026–27.
This milestone marks yet another significant step in Trio’s continuous journey of academic excellence and holistic education. The ISC (Indian School Certificate) curriculum is designed to provide students with a broad and balanced framework that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and leadership.
With the introduction of ISC, Trio World School continues to expand its commitment to nurturing well-rounded learners who are prepared to excel academically and thrive in an ever-changing world. This new chapter reinforces our vision of fostering independent thinkers, responsible citizens, and compassionate leaders.

In a small corner of our world, an inspiring activity is underway. Students from Trio World School are deeply engaged in mentoring their counterparts in government higher primary school Kodigehalli, Bangalore. What is remarkable about this endeavour is that it is not just about mentoring; it is about fostering the core values of service, and leadership through community service.
Cultivating empathy without superiority
These young students of ICSE exhibit a unique quality: they interact with the government school kids without a trace of superiority. They seamlessly integrate social responsibility into their lives, showing genuine empathy and compassion without acting as if they are doing a favour.
One key aspect of the students’ initiative is fundraising. They have embraced the power of creativity by crafting arts and crafts, which are then auctioned to raise funds for the student at the government school. The funds are then used to improve school infrastructure and resources. The results are astounding; in the last year, these young hearts and minds collected an impressive ₹40,000, a testament to their commitment to making a difference.
Learning, sharing, and leading
Beyond fundraising, these children are learning, sharing, and caring among themselves. They are aware of the needs of their community. They embody the qualities of responsible citizenship. They are not merely future leaders; they are actively participating in shaping a better future today.
The beauty of Trio’s community outreach programme lies in its ability to nurture social responsibility in a way that does not create divisions among the students. It is a reminder that when children are given the opportunity and guidance to care for others, they willingly embrace the responsibility. Trio’s students are not just cultivating qualities for tomorrow’s citizens; they are living examples of the compassionate, empathetic, and responsible citizens we all aspire to be.
At Trio World School, education goes far beyond classrooms, textbooks, and exams. The school’s philosophy centres on creating an environment where students can explore their potential and develop into well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges of the future.
One of the main focuses at Trio is fostering imagination and creativity. The school recognises that progress and innovation stem from new ideas, and they encourage students to think outside the box. This approach not only enhances academic performance but also prepares students for a world that values creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking.

Responsibility for the environment and community
The school places a strong emphasis on environmental awareness and personal responsibility. From the very first day of the academic year, students are encouraged to take small but meaningful steps to protect the environment and to be accountable for their actions.
Trio instils a sense of social responsibility in its students. Through community service programs, students learn the value of giving back to society and the joy of sharing and caring for others.
By providing a balanced mix of academic rigour, co-curricular activities, and character-building experiences, Trio World School aims to produce not just academically proficient students, but compassionate, responsible, and well-rounded leaders ready to make a positive impact on the world.
Punarv Aditya entered the India Book of Records for beating the record of the maximum number of foetal anomalies identified by a child in 1 minute.
Sitting across the table from Dr. Prathima Radhakrishnan, Foetal Medicine Specialist, the enthusiastic 4-year-old student of K1A at Trio World School showed off his prodigal skills. He identified every image of foetal abnormality shown to him on a screen by Dr. Prathima accurately. Young Punarv rattled off medical terms for common to rare conditions found in foetuses including Spina Bifida, Scoliosis, Micrognathia, Polydactyly, and Hydrops Fetalis.
Foetal abnormalities are structural or functional anomalies that occur during foetal development in the womb. These abnormalities can affect various parts of the body and can range from minor to severe. It is important to identify them early to allow for early intervention, parental preparation medical management and birth planning.
At Trio World School, such achievements reflect our commitment to nurturing curiosity, analytical thinking, and scientific exploration from an early age. By prioritising STEM education through hands-on learning, and opportunities for innovation, the school ensures that students like Punarv are inspired to explore complex concepts with enthusiasm and confidence.
