Students of Trio World School have delivered a stellar series of performances at the national sports circuit, securing gold medals, record-breaking milestones, and selections for premier all-India tournaments across swimming, shooting, chess, and taekwondo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ira Umashankar of Class 7C, clinched the Gold Medal in the 200m Breaststroke at the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) National Sports & Games. Clocking an impressive 3:01.78, Ira set a new CISCE National Record and secured qualification for the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) National Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In shooting, Class 9 student Taksh Gowda demonstrated remarkable precision to secure a Gold Medal at the National Shooting Championship, also earning qualification for the upcoming SGFI Tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school\u2019s presence on the national stage extends further into mind and martial sports. Aahan Satapathy (Class 10) has been selected to represent the region at the National Chess Championship, scheduled to take place in Kanpur from October 8 to October 12, 2026. Mariam Nimra (Class 8) has earned selection to compete at the Taekwondo Nationals in Amritsar, Punjab, from October 2 to October 4, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the CISCE and SGFI Nationals<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Both the CISCE National Games and the SGFI National Championships represent the pinnacle of school-level athletics in India. The CISCE Games <\/strong><\/a>bring together the finest athletes from thousands of affiliated schools nationwide through rigorous zonal and regional qualifiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Progression from CISCE to the SGFI Nationals represents the ultimate benchmark in school sports, pitting top qualifiers against premier athletes from state education boards, CBSE and national sports academies under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustaining elite-level competition alongside academic rigor requires extensive external coaching, travel and rigorous training regimes.
