At TRIO World School, we believe that the early years of a child’s education shape the foundation for lifelong learning, growth, and well-being. Our Foundational Years Programme is thoughtfully designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence, while ensuring holistic development in a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment. With a blend of academics, co-scholastic enrichment, and co-curricular activities, we provide children with the tools, skills, and values they need to thrive in their educational journey and beyond.
The first three years of the Foundational Stage provide a rich and stimulating environment that encourages holistic and healthy development. The pre-primary school programme offers the following scholastic, co-scholastic and co-curricular activities.
The next two years of the Foundational Stage are designed to consolidate learning, while nurturing curiosity, creativity, and essential life skills, preparing students for the challenges of formal primary education.
At Trio World School, the Primary Programme marks a crucial stage in a child’s learning journey, where curiosity blossoms into deeper understanding and creativity takes structured form. Designed for children between 8 and 11 years of age, our Primary School Programme builds a strong academic and holistic foundation, while nurturing a lifelong love for learning.
Aligned with the ICSE curriculum, the programme blends knowledge, skills, and values to help students grow into confident, capable, and compassionate learners. We emphasize authentic inquiry, exploration, and problem-solving, encouraging students to apply classroom learning to real-life situations in joyful, engaging, and interactive ways.
The primary school programme offers the following scholastic, co-scholastic, co-curricular activities and sports.
At TRIO World School, our Middle School Programme is a vital bridge between the preparatory years and secondary education. Designed for students aged 11 to 14, it nurtures intellectual growth, social awareness, and emotional maturity at a critical stage of development. The programme strengthens the foundation built in earlier years while preparing students to meet the academic and personal challenges of high school with confidence.
Middle school experience in ICSE emphasizes innovation, inquiry, and application of knowledge. Our teaching methods integrate activity-based learning with modern skills development, ensuring students become independent thinkers, effective communicators, and responsible global citizens.
The Middle School curriculum is carefully structured to meet the unique needs of young adolescents. It helps students broaden their interests, sharpen analytical and creative skills, and build perseverance and self-direction.
At TRIO World School, our High School Programme empowers students aged 14 to 17 with the academic rigour, and life skills required for higher education and beyond. Class VIII acts as a preparatory year, easing the transition into the ICSE curriculum in Class IX and the ISC curriculum in Class XII.
The programme emphasizes both mastery of concepts and application of knowledge. Students develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and communication skills while learning to adapt to a dynamic world. Beyond academics, our focus is on shaping empathetic, responsible, and proactive young leaders ready to make a meaningful difference.
Trio World School offers a broad choice of subjects in ISC, allowing students to pursue their interests while building strong pathways for higher education.
Available ISC Subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography, History, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, Environmental Science, Physical Education, Psychology.
Note: English and SUPW are mandatory for all streams.
Through our career guidance initiative, students gain valuable real-world insights. By interacting directly with professionals and parents who share their experiences, students gain an authentic understanding of what different careers involve.
At Trio World School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is more than a subject. It is a mindset of curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking that prepares students to thrive in an ever-changing world. Our vision of nurturing well-rounded, globally aware citizens shapes the way we bring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to life.
Through our Global Citizenship Programme, students connect classroom concepts drawn from the ICSE curriculum to real-world challenges and learn to see themselves as problem-solvers and innovators. Each discipline is approached not only as an area of knowledge but also as a lens for understanding how the world works and how we can shape a better future:
Integrated projects such as renewable energy models, robotics prototypes, and AI-driven solutions show students how these disciplines intersect and how innovation emerges when diverse skills come together.
Underlying every activity are TRIO’s core values of Leadership, Discipline, Academic Excellence and Service. We value healthy teacher-student relationships. Our teachers act as mentors who spark curiosity and guide students to collaborate, question, and learn from mistakes. We ensure that every learner’s voice is heard, and every idea is valued in the classroom and beyond. With a strong focus on holistic development, we balance academic rigour with creativity, life skills, and social responsibility.
By inspiring learners to explore, experiment, and excel, we equip them not just for the ICSE examinations but for the challenges and opportunities of a dynamic global future.
Our Mathematics Laboratory provides students with a hands-on learning environment where abstract concepts come to life through practical activities and experiments. The lab is well-equipped with models, charts, shapes, geoboards, and measuring tools such as Base 10 blocks, 10-frames, balances, measuring tapes, counters, and scales.
In addition, digital resources make learning engaging and interactive. By exploring mathematical ideas in a concrete way, students develop stronger problem-solving skills and deeper conceptual understanding.
This experiential approach not only builds confidence but also nurtures curiosity and a love for the subject.
The Robotics Lab at Trio World School is a modern workspace where students learn to build and control robots using simple tools and coding. It helps them understand how machines work and move on their own.
Students gain hands-on experience with sensors and controllers while creating innovative projects and participating in robotics competitions such as Avishkaar. This hands-on approach nurtures creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork — essential skills for the technology-driven future.
Second Language is introduced in the foundational years in TWS.
In Kindergarten 1, children are exposed to the Listening and Speaking of Hindi and Kannada language through a varied activity. Children are conversant with basic transactional skills in both Hindi and Kannada.
Children absorb languages at a fantastic speed. Therefore, it is important to teach them functional rules of Grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, spoken and written etiquette of the language being taught. Language learning at TRIO is made fun and stimulating through a variety of approaches that help children express themselves better through their chosen languages. Communication techniques are also introduced to transform students into powerful communicators. Reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills are given equal importance.
In line with Karnataka Education policy for Kannada being taught in Primary, TWS follows a dual language policy up to Class IV, where Hindi and Kannada are taught parallelly as second languages. This dual-language exposure supports the development of multilingual abilities during the foundational years.
From Class V onwards, Kannada is implemented as the mandatory second language. Hindi will be offered as an optional language, depending on student interest.
