Facilities
Welcome to the Trio World School website. We appreciate your interest in our International school, and we hope you will enjoy your time learning about the community, the programs, and the character of our school.
The library has been identified as a key area in motivating achievement and promoting each student’s personal development.
TWS Library supports the entire curriculum requirement there by enabling the school to fulfil British National curriculum Key stages; Foundation to IGCSE, AS and A Level. The Library has a collection of all the leading newspapers, latest magazines, and non print resources. It has the flexibility to allow multiple activities. Informal reading spaces have been provided for books and periodicals that encourage literacy, lifelong learning and a habit of reading for pleasure.
As the resource collection is organized for use by students and staff, it is catalogued and arranged by using the standard classification system. The Library has quiet corners for reading, work tables for group work, and space for collaborative activities.
The Library collection includes more than 6000 books, around 100 CDs and DVDS, 18 magazines subscriptions, 5 News papers, 5 online databases which students and teachers can access at school and home. Trio World School is an Institutional member of The British Library Bangalore.
Trio World School welcomes students with moderate special needs who are integrated into regular classrooms and given as required individual attention. The school has a well-established Special Needs and Learning Support department.
Our learning support helps students with specific learning difficulties, for example dyslexia and dyspraxia. Such assistance, which continues for as long as they need has a high degree of success in achieving and ensuring that justice is done to abilities.
Additional support happens in small groups, in pairs or individually, according to specific needs. Lessons are organised at the beginning of each term and they take place around the demands of the student’s academic timetable and extra-curricular activities.
Students with specific learning difficulties are placed on the school’s SEN register, which is confidential. End of term reports are written for all students who receive tuition.
There may be an extra fee charged which can be discussed with the school directly. Please note we do not except children who are habitually medicated.NOTE: Admission for students with Special Needs will be confirmed based on seat availability and satisfactory completion of required assessments.
It is said that “an army marches on its stomach”, in other words it is vital that they are well fed to achieve their goals and it is true also of learning, the children at Trio World School also require regular and nutritious food to be all they can possibly be.
