About Us
Welcome to the Trio World School website. We appreciate your interest in our International school, and hope you will enjoy your time learning about our community, the programs, and the character of TRIO. Trio World School (TWS) is a selective private school for boys and girls aged 2.5 to 18. It aims to provide a broad and stimulating truly international educational experience with very high standards within the formal British Key Stages, IGCSE, AS and A-Level curriculum keeping in mind that school life should be valued for itself and not as a preparation for adulthood. The heart of the school’s aim is the intellectual, cultural and social development of all pupils in a context of mutual esteem and sensible order.
While it is recommended that all children should start infant school at five years old, at Trio World School, parents are able to choose to start their child’s schooling earlier, into our Nursery from the age of two and half years.
Our students learn from an experienced, dedicated and enormously talented faculty, who challenge, inspire, encourage and nurturethe tender minds to reach greater levels of perception. There is a wide range of extra-curricular activities on a daily basis as well as through inter-school competitions. Music, drama, sports, art and various clubactivities give children a wide range of choices that appeal to different interests and skills. Our house system engenders healthy competitions in both sports and participation in academic and leisure pursuits.
TWS encourages parent participation in a number of support roles. We have an active Parent Teacher Association and a Class Representative system that facilitates communication between the home and school. Parents contribute to the extracurricular programme and volunteer in the academic sessions of the school. Open, continuous and two way communication is essential for the success of our students and your child. Teachers and parents discuss the children’s progress at formal scheduled meetings and informally any time. The student diary offers a daily opportunity for parents and teachers to communicate, along with internet and phone messages.
The School Admissions at TWS ensures an affordable, fair and straight forward admission system that promotes equity and fair access to all.
While many new students begin with us in September, our school is known to be very flexible in its enrolments. Given the international dynamics of most of our parents TWS helps in relocating parents all the year round. Usually we are able to offer places to most student candidates However, if seats are not available, students are placed on our waiting list.
The school is situated on the Kodigehalli Main Road just a 35 minute drive from the city centre. We are well served by our fleet of modern air-conditioned school buses which ply to most parts of Bangalore.

MESSAGE FROM THE HEADMASTER
Greetings from TRIO World School!
Thank you for visiting the Trio World School’s (TWS) website. We appreciate your interest in our School. TWS is here to cater to the fast growing multinational community in Bangalore which is the Silicon Valley of India. We have a diverse group of students and a healthy mixture of Indian and Western faculty who possess a global perspective. Our main investment is in our human resources for the professional development of our staff and they in turn see themselves as part of the world-wide educational community. We promote tolerance, mutual respect and international-mindedness. It is our commitment to mould children to be open to thinking globally and be prepared for life anywhere in the world and to achieve their goals. We believe that self-discipline is more sustainable than imposed discipline and hence there is no authoritarianism in our school.
In our scheme of things we promote high standards of achievement and provide space for our students to flourish. Our students learn the British National Curriculum till Year 9, and IGCSE, AS and A Level thereafter. Through our professional links with the world, we facilitate international transfers to the schools in other countries. As we are here to serve a global community, our aim is to assist internationally-mobile families in making a smooth transfer to any school system or graduate to universities world-wide.
We are a not-for-profit school and financial surpluses, if any, are reinvested in the development of TWS. Every stakeholder has a right to express his/her views and we all shoulder the responsibility in creating a school that meets the needs of every student. My optimism about the future of TWS comes from the positive parental involvement, student achievements, especially in the co-curricular and extracurricular domains and strong Management support. The education system at TWS is transforming itself to better prepare our students to be global citizens. At the same time we are cautious of today’s challenges where the young minds are distracted to undesirable behavior patterns due to forces of circumstances and the digital world. As parents and teachers, it is our commitment to adopt ways and means to channelise the talents and energy of our students into creative community development.
With this noble purpose may I seek your good wishes and blessings to take TWS to greater heights.
Thank you, once again, for your interest in our school. I look forward to meeting you personally.
Sincerely,
Karma Chandran

MESSAGE FROM DEPUTY HEADMASTER
Dear parents and students,
Welcome to TRIO! The best little school in Bangalore!
It is a privilege to be the Deputy Head Master, CIE, and Secondary Coordinator of such a vibrant and enthusiastic school of students. When you enter the main gate of our institution and turn by the fountain, you immediately enter a positive learning environment filled with happy students and teachers dedicated to the whole development of a child. The key to our success is simple: live and learn Academics occupy the central priority in our school vision and many efforts are put in place to make sure that every pupil receives the best of the National Curriculum of England from Nursery to Year 9 and Cambridge International Examinations for Years 10 to 13. Our limited class size(maximum 20 students) and special needs department, strive to offer a personalized and inclusive approach suitable for all learning needs. Our teachers multiply their efforts to align their teaching and assessing practices to maintain a much needed “no surprise” policy where everybody understands the expectations. This offers a unique learning environment where the learner can “unpack” topics in a series of diversified activities of explorations and discoveries. Engaging the students in their own learning is what our school strives for.
Another essential aspect is TRIO’s involvement in the community development programmes. We strongly encourage our students to remain connected to the world around them and try to open as many “windows” as we can to our immediate and not so immediate community. Hands-on activities, field trips, guest speakers, and, quite importantly, our community service programme based on the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, provide our students an experience where experiential and mutual learning to new horizons take the stand.
In all, any TRIO student can be sure to benefit from a global educational approach that will enable him/her to tackle the exciting challenges of the 21st Century. This is a promise that is made on behalf of our highly competent staff and me.
Once again, welcome to TRIO!
